Scholarships
Scholarships are funds from various sources that do not have to be repaid. They vary in amount, requirements, and criteria, and many are not subject to federal aid eligibility requirements. These need—and non-need-based awards are processed throughout the year. However, the majority are available through the CHC Scholarship application.
Scholarship awards will be added to the student’s award package to ensure that their awards do not exceed their documented need.
Internal
Many students are familiar with the CHC scholarship offerings and have applied for
them in the past. The 2025 - 2026 academic year application period will open on Tuesday,
October 1, 2024, and close at midnight on Friday, February 28, 2025.
This online process requires students to answer questions to establish a profile and
determine initial scholarship eligibility. In addition, students must write an essay
describing their eventual career goal, community service experience, and condition
of need.

External
Various agencies invite students to apply for scholarships throughout the year. You
can check this site frequently, as the types and numbers of open scholarships vary
weekly. The sponsoring agency determines the deadline dates.
